The only comics I ever read were the Archie comics.
I look at your pic of comics and realize all the work that went into them...yikes!

Steven!

It would be GREAT watching all those wonderful Saturday morning cartoons from the 80's again!

Blakenetizen!

"Vintage" is a loose term. I think the stuff from the 70's and before can be considered vintage and harder to find. Stuff from the 80's on up not so much.

The Marvel-Team books (from the 70's) were found at my local comic shop!

The next best place for old, miscellaneous comics is on eBay. I've gotten ENTIRE runs on there for amazing prices!

My Flow Chart!

I have thousands and thousands of comics! I've collected them since I was in grade school!

Unfortunately, I haven't read all of them! It's going to take me years!

Manon!

Nothing wrong with Archie and the gang!

And yeah, I don't think many people realize how much goes into making a comic. The writer, penciler, inker, colorist, editor, publisher, distributer....all for one comic book!

It's always wonderful hearing from all of you!

Oh, our Little Miss A would gobble all of these up...she's 5 and has SUCH a passion for these SUPER Hero Comic books...Antique markets are her fave places to go shopping!
Hope all is well.

Rachel Summers should have smoked the Beyonder in issue 203 of Uncanny X-Men. Saved us all the trouble of suffering through that whole Secret Wars II crap.

Dean Grey said...

Neil!

Agreed!

The Marvel Superheroes should've known the Beyonder was trouble just from that gawd-awful, white, disco-inspired outfit he wore!

Uggh!

I love the smell of those old 80s era comic books. Is that weird?

(Side note, somebody's gotta put that scent in a candle...)

Immature_Entrepreneur!

Not weird at all! That's just the smell of comic book history!
